Welcome to Day 1 of the Advent MCAL!

What is an MCAL? An MCAL is a Mystery Crochet a long. And this one runs for 24 days- the Advent. This MCAL is designed for the busy crocheter at Christmas time. Each 'task' should take 30- 60 minutes each day, giving you some time to relax, at a time of year that can sometimes be very stressful.

Each day of advent, you will select a new yarn from the kit. Motifs will be joined with the JAYGO – Join as you go method, from Day 3. If you do not have a kit, you are welcome to join in with any yarn you have.

Now that the MCAL is complete - Here is the link to Day 2, which covers the joining method

Day 3, which covers joining two or more motifs together

We are using Catona Cotton (approx 600 m in total) and a 4 mm crochet hook.

We love to see your creativity on Social Media, please share with #YarnishmakesMCAL #YarnishAdvent.
