WITB: Highlights and Showstoppers - Nicole's flying solo! 3/3/2020

Hello, Yarnies! 

Tonight is a night to remember: it is the LAST WITB in beautiful Mulgoa. We are so sad to leave this place, but so happy to be stepping into an amazing new space! 

So let's jump in to the last WITB for Mulgoa <3

Shelby is travelling beautiful Asia

Shelby has been having a wonderful time in Thailand: swimming with elephants, drinking copious amounts of alcohol and hanging out with a whole bunch of lovely ladies and one super hot (her words!) Contiki Tour Guide!! 

But that means Nicole was flying solo tonight! 

Yarnish Wears 

Nicole was wearing Shelby's Super Simple Granny Shawl using Papatya Cake. You can find the pattern here. This pattern is super easy, and the wool cake is lovely and cozy (perfect for a winter's day!) 

This week is moving week!

Dismantled Yarnish! Everything is being packed away for the big moving day this Friday.  There are no more Open Days and we are (almost) ready to go! 

Nicole wasn't planning on a big WITB tonight, but then the delivery man came with quite a few new goodies....  so get ready!

Undyed Luxury - Spun in Italy

Nicole brought in some new undyed yarns. Previously we stocked the Scheepjes Skies, but now we have in stock (100g skeins): 

Cairo - 100% Cotton (200m) - $14

Tullamore - 100% Extra Fine Merino (250m) - $24 

Lusso - 70% Extra Fine Merino / 20% Silk / 10% Cashmere (280m) - $30

This yarn is super luxurious and is so, so beautiful when dyed. We know that you will absolutely love dying this yarn! 

Malabrigo - Made in Peru - 100% Merino Wool - $29

We cannot express how much we love this yarn!! We currently have 6 stunning colours available! They are kettle dyed and machine washable in cold water. There are 400m is each skein.

Shelby is currently working on the Rigging Wrap with this yarn. When you crochet/knit, make sure you choose a simple pattern to really highlight the sprinkles of colour throughout the skein. 

Silky Merino - 51% Silk / 49% Merino - $29

These are 50g skeins, super soft and luxurious with the added silk! This one is a 8ply, 137m. 

Yarn & Colors Charming - 68% Cotton / 32% Acrylic / 115m - $5.50

They finally arrived! We were patiently (not-so-patiently!) waiting for these to arrive. Mottled effect, just like the stonewashed yarn. The first 22 colours have arrived, out of 50 in total. This yarn is beautiful and perfectly colourmatched to the Must-Have Range. We are still waiting on the warm colours. Fingering weight, 4ply. 

We will be having a re-vamp in our Stonewashed and Catona Yarnish Makes. 

Stenli Candy - the final Candy's have arrived! So if you were waiting for your Candy, they will be sent out to you ASAP.
