Nicole @ Yarnish
Shelby Bryon is a Western Sydney-based artist who is new to the yarn scene. Whilst drawing has always been her ‘go to’ art form, she was inspired to try fibre arts by her mother and nana, who taught her how to crochet in recent years. Mostly working on smaller projects, Shelby enjoys creating wearables and home decor items.
Mel Harrison is an artist, designer and indie dyer from the Watagan Mountain hinterlands in Lake Macquarie. Writing in both knitting and crochet patterns she produces a variety of stylish patterns to suit everybody.
Katt Wade is a textile artist with a wide range of skills across fabric, yarn and craft; specialising in crochet and sewing, and has a unique ability to see the ordinary and turn it into the extraordinary with skill, precision and personality and perhaps a dash of pizazz thrown in for good measure. Katt occasionally succumbs to bribery in the form of chocolate, coffee and cheesecake, and her favourite colour is blue.
Emma Wilkinson lives in the outer suburbs of Sydney, with her husband and four sons. With an advanced Diploma of Fine Art under her belt, she turned to the world of fibre art shortly before the birth of her third son. Inspired by nature, patchwork and Australiana, along with bold shapes and colours, she now designs crochet patterns for digital release, crochet kits and magazines.
