Hello Yarnies <3

Welcome to another night of WITB fun!

Tonight we were scriptless. Everything was impromptu! So hold onto your knitted hats, we are making this up as we go!

Let's jump in!

Rainbow Challenge

And just like that, the Rainbow Challenge is finished!

Pink Month is now over. Thank you for all your amazing contributions, but there can only be one winner. We were spoilt tonight as we saw the winner announced LIVE! Can you hear the rattle of the wheel through my screen-grab below?

And the winner is...

Mellanie Jayne!

Congratulations! Mellanie will receive a $20 voucher to spend in-store at Yarnish.

We also announced previously that there would be a draw for the 'Ultimate Rainbow Challenge'. For people who participated in the entire challenge, they would go in the running to win a gorgeous colour pack featuring Crayola Yarn!

Stay tuned for the winner to be announced soon!

Fruit Cup Fade

Each month of the Rainbow Challenge, Designer Emma Wilkinson released a part of her beautiful Fruit Cup Fade Blanket. Her finished blanket looked stunning on tonight's stream.

Emma has also started the Ombre version of her Fruit Cup Fade. She is also working on a sneaky square design...

You can purchase kits and the pattern here

Mrs Yarnish's pre-trip trip...

If you're active on our Yarnish Community page, you may have seen the live-stream where Nicole told us that she took a bit of a tumble down the stairs. As a result, she is sporting a very fancy moon boot, poor thing!

Yarnish Wears

Nicole was wearing her very new bling bling denim jacket. But what we looooove is Shelby's gorgeous knitted scarf (made by the talented Sue Cashmore!)

Sue made this scarf from the KFI Indulgence mini-set, which also includes the pattern. DK weight, 4x skeins, 100% merino superwash wool. There are 2 beautiful colourways.

The kit is $60 and you can purchase it here

Eyes!

We have lots of eyes in stock, including clear eyes where you can paint the back of them to customise your colours. Thanks, Katt for this hot tip!

Eyes can be purchased here

Yarnish Makes!

We have two new patterns coming up tomorrow!

The Spring-time Shrug

This is the beautiful shrug that we saw on the live-stream a few weeks ago. This was designed by Nanna Yarnish, Christine.

This is a super easy pattern:

The Chain length is measured from top to bottom and the number of rows will give you your width. So it is super easy to adjust.

In the pattern, there is a very thorough photo tutorial, including a tutorial for left-handers!

Desert Rainbows Infinity Cowl

Katt has designed a lovely cowl called Desert Rainbows Infinity Cowl, and it will be posted for free up on the blog (very soon!!) There will also be a paid version of the pattern, which is beautifully formatted, for $2.

The Cowl uses Uluru Queensland Collection. These are $15 per ball. 100g, cotton, acrylic and poly blend, weight 1. These are 'sneaky' yarn, because they featured soooo many colours which are hidden inside the skein. Seriously, this yarn is BEAUTIFUL!

Days of Christmas Crochet-Along

We will be doing another Christmas CAL! Yay!!

There will be three colourways in the beautiful Scheepjes Catona Cotton:

Rustic - featuring colours inspired by Australiana; browns and reds;

Merry - featuring traditional reds and greens;

Frosted - featuring blue and silvery greys.

This CAL will include 12 designs by the Yarnish Design Team. All patterns are crochet, sorry knitters!

We have some amigurumi, tapestry crochet, things worked in the round, we have tree-hangings and so much more! Every day, from the 1st of December to the 12th, a new design will be released. We will be opening up for preorders of the kits soon.

Price to be announced :) Watch this space!

A cruisey project for Hookers!

As we know, Mrs Yarnish is heading on a Crochet Cruise to NZ. Tonight she shared with us the secret project she was designing for the CAL on board.

Nicole made a gorgeous Hook Case!

It has 14 pockets and fits all your favorite hooks inside. Nicole used 3 balls of Catona Yarn. Stay tuned for this pattern coming soon!

Shop News

Yarnish HQ received a notification that on November 1st there will be no power due to scheduled maintenance. Sadly, this falls on an open day. So, Yarnish HQ will NOT be open.

As Mrs Yarnish will be away on a cruise, Shelby will be on her own, crocheting in the dark :)

And that's it!

Happy Yarning!

Reneé
