You had me at "Yellow"

Yellow month is just about to begin - and to get you ready, I'll be posting a few yellow yarns to get you inspired. Yellow is often associated with sunshine, happiness and wisdom.

Cicibebe cake CC-111 is a bright lemon and white acrylic cake - with a generous 360 meters. Currently this yarn is part of the 'buy three cakes -get one free' special. Stock up on 4 lemon cakes for a nice sized blanket, or maybe grab some CC-113 to be ready for the green challenge! 

Cicibebe Sprinkles in banana is another great acrylic choice. Designed to mimic fair isle knitting, so it has some flecks of other colours throughout. 

Softie in 709 is a nice fluffy yarn, with yellow and grey. An acrylic and nylon blend; You could make yourself a Thistle beanie with one ball!

New (to us) is Scheepjes Namaste in 'Sphinx, a soft buttery yellow, a bulky weight 50% virgin wool, 50% acrylic that is perfect for the cooler months. 

If bright yellow isn't for you; Katia Oceana in Ochre is a great choice for those who prefer a more mustard colour. An elegant linen, cotton and viscose blend.
